Dr Emma Hart is a Senior Lecturer in Cardiovascular Physiology at the University of Bristol.
Emma’s research focuses on autonomic control of the circulation and ventilation with expertise in human integrative physiology. Emma co-leads the Bristol Cardionomics Research Group, which is an experimental medicine laboratory based in the NIHR Bristol Clinical Research Facility. The group investigate mechanisms of disease and possible treatments to improve outcomes and quality of life for people with hypertension, heart failure and long-COVID.
