Research conversations: Improving the smear test experience

About the event

During this research conversation Dr Ilhem Berrou and Dr Zoe Anchors will talk about their work on the CLEAR study.

The CLEAR study is aimed at improving how the smear test is offered so that women and people with a cervix are provided with a choice of positions, and are supported to choose the position that is most comfortable and appropriate for them.

The study is led by Professor Nicola Walsh.

Our speakers

Dr Ilhem Berrou is a pharmacist and a senior lecturer at the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol. Ilhem leads on the patient and public engagement activities of a research study called CLEAR.

Dr Zoe Anchors is based at the University of the West of England in Bristol. Zoe is the lead Research Fellow on the CLEAR research study.
