Rahul Bhatnagar is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Bristol Academic Respiratory Unit, a Consultant Respiratory Physician at North Bristol NHS Trust, and an Adjunct Professor of Respiratory Medicine at the University of Southern Denmark.
He has a background and research interest in clinical trials in pleural disease, with an emphasis on malignant effusions and their management, pleural infection, novel diagnostics, and thoracic ultrasound. He co-leads the personalised care in pleural disease workstream, which aims to identify new biomarkers to improve pleural patient care.
